The fourth largest coffee producing country in the 1880s, the Philippines now re-emerges with high quality coffees. Beyond the popular Barako coffee, "Kapeng Barako," the Philippines also produces specialty grade Arabicas and Fine Robustas.

What is specialty coffee?

In a nutshell, it is the highest grade of coffee produced, roasted, brewed, and consumed.

According to Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), "specialty can only occur when all of those involved in the coffee value chain work in harmony and maintain a keen focus on standards and excellence from start to finish."
