About the origin:
In 2012, the Sibal family started planting coffee in what used to be a mango farm in the municipality of Bamban, the border of Tarlac and Pampanga. Through the encouragement and support of a Korean philanthropist, they were able to acquire coffee seedlings from The Pampanga State Agricultural University and since then have planted about 15,000 trees.
Unfamiliar with coffee farming, the Sibal family’s youngest son, Jay, reached out to Kalsada to learn more about coffee production and processing.
Kalsada has been working with Jay and his family for the last 3 years to bring their Kapampangan
